TRANSPORT
GOOD DOGS GO FAR.
From cross-country road trips to friendly skies, we help our dogs make their way to the people waiting for them. Most make the long journey by ground transport, while our volunteer pilots help with shorter flights once they're up north.
Sometimes it's a van. Sometimes it's a private plane. Either way, there's a whole lot of coordination, some pretty wonderful people, and one very important passenger behind every happy arrival.

We're not about to let distance get in the way of a perfectly good love story.
Our transport network stretches from Texas to the Northeast, Midwest, and beyond—even into Canada—connecting rescued dogs with the foster families and adopters waiting to welcome them home.
Getting a dog across the country takes more than a van, a GPS, and a driver with a questionable sleep schedule. Behind every journey are dedicated drivers, volunteer pilots, and a whole lot of people coordinating the miles for passengers who have absolutely no idea where they're going.
Because rescue doesn't end when they're safe.
It ends when they're home.

WE'VE GOT THIS PART DOWN.
We've been getting dogs safely across the country for years. In fact, we used to handle every single transport ourselves, so when we say we're picky about who we trust with our dogs, we mean it.
Today, we work with a small network of experienced, trusted third-party transporters we've built relationships with over the years. These aren't just names we found on the internet. They're people we know, trust, and count on to care for our dogs the way we would.
They're not just passengers. They're somebody's whole world on the way home.
With transports departing regularly each week, we've got the journey home down to a pretty good routine. Most of our dogs leave Texas Friday morning and arrive up north Saturday or Sunday. Along the way, they're walked, fed, watered, and cared for by people who understand just how precious their passengers are. And you won't have to spend the weekend wondering where your new best friend is. Our transporters share live updates and photos along the way, so you can follow the journey from departure to arrival.
